Dylan Goh (also known as ‘Arcai’) is an independent street dancer, producer and curator with a decade of experience in the creative industries.
His work champions underrepresented artforms and communities, particularly queer and diasporic youth, and he brings a deep commitment to inclusive governance, cultural literacy, and transnational artistic exchange.
Dylan is the Australian founder of Palette Session, a not-for-profit experimental dance collective in Sydney and Seoul, and Co-Chair of Cypher Culture. He currently serves as an Artform Board Member for Dance and Physical Theatre at Create NSW, where he has helped allocate $1.4 million in arts funding.
Dylan has produced large-scale cultural events, curated festivals, and taught marketing at UNSW, while also contributing to youth and multicultural initiatives through roles with the Australia Korea Young Professionals Association and the City of Sydney. He is an alumnus of the New Colombo Plan and Asian-Australian Leadership Awards.
As a dancer, Dylan’s artistry is rooted in the gay dance of punking / w*acking which emerged from underground gay clubs of Los Angeles in the 1970s such as Paradise Ballroom and Ginos. It is characterised by storytelling, posing and whacking - or sharp striking motions with arms. He currently leads community jam sessions for local punkers / w*ackers through Sydney City W_acking.
